After the Civil War and the establishment of Liberia, the United States realize that Africa is pretty much full of resources and totally unable to defend themselves, so instead of going for the Caribbean like they did in OTL, they go for west Africa. While they originally just go for farmland and similar areas, they can't help but establish protectorates in the more mountainous areas of west Africa.
Does that mean they conflict with the other European states that scramble for Africa, like Portugal or France? And what happens to the carribean, then?
And.. more ebola in America.
How would the European Powers have reacted...during the division of the continent?
I wasn't thinking about that, really, just wanted to wank the U.S. in Africa. Feel free to imagine.
As an African........*cocks gun*
Come at us Bro
Come at us Bro
Im sure the americans wood treat africans better then europeans or arabs did.
Riiight. What incentive do they have? Magical multiculturalism isn't a thing.
I doubt it givn ho they treated indigenous population and african slaves.
That's a very interesting idea!
Oh dear! Looks like President McKinley got the right idea!
Hadn't there already been French and British holdings on the continent, though? Like little ports and stuff, dating back to the beginnings of the slave trade?
This looks rather interesting.
Bet the French and the British weren't too happy with Americans marching into their colonial holdings.
Interesting. I like it.
great okay. great plan.
